All of our lapping abrasives come in 50-pound pails and 250-400 pound drums while depending on abrasive. Most in-stock, ready to ship!

Additional abrasive micron sizes are available upon request

SILICON CARBIDE

Allowing fast stock removal for hard or soft materials while using silicon carbide. Thus commonly used on SpeedFam machines with hardened rings and segments. Works well with Stahli OBV-2500 Lapping Oil indeed.

Abrasive micron sizes available: 120, 180, 220, 240, 280, 320, 360, 400, 500, 600, 800, 1000, 1200, 1500

BROWN FUSED ALUMINUM OXIDE

Brown Fused Aluminum Oxide is for general lapping with as a result of achieving fine surface finish. For this purpose, its commonly used on Spitfire, Lapmaster, Cleveland, Wentsky, and similar type machines with cast iron tables. In fact, this product works well with Stahli WBC-3010 Water-Based Vehicle.

Abrasive sizes available: 1, 3, 5, 7.5, 9.5, 12.5, 14.5, 17.5, 20, 22.5, 25, 27.5, 30

CALCINED ALUMINA (Micro Alumina)

Micro Alumina is generally used when containing metals, optics, silicon wafers, and other semiconductor materials.

Abrasive micron sizes available: 0 .5, 1.0, 3.0, 5.0, 7.0, 9.0, 12.0, 15.0, 18.0, 20.0, 28.0, 30.0

BORON CARBIDE

Boron Carbide is best to use with ceramic, carbide and other hard materials therefore achieving desired finish during applications.
